168th (2nd London) Brigade : ウィキペディア英語版 | 168th (2nd London) Brigade
The 168th (2nd London) Brigade was an infantry brigade of the British Army that saw service during both World War I and World War II. Throughout its existence, serving under many different titles and designations, the brigade was an integral part of the 56th (London) Infantry Division throughout its existence, and again after the Second World War until it was finally disbanded in the 1960s. ==Formation== The 2nd London Brigade was first raised under the Haldane Reforms in 1908, upon the creation of the Territorial Force (TF) which was formed by the merger of the Yeomanry and the Volunteer Force. The 2nd London Brigade was assigned to the 1st London Division, one of fourteen divisions of the peacetime Territorials. The brigade was composed of four volunteer battalions, three of the King's Royal Rifle Corps and one of the Rifle Brigade, which later became the 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th Territorial battalions of the London Regiment.
